History
HistoryKaune has built a strong foundation of glass expertise over more than 100 years. Kaune’s enduring success is built on a foundation of reliable performance and continuous innovation. For over a century, Kaune has stayed ahead of technology and industry trends, enabling it to deliver high-quality glass and aluminium solutions even in the most demanding conditions.
In 1996, Kaune expanded its focus to the marine sector by launching Kaune Marine, which developed and certified its first fire-rated glass doors and window structures for ships. Today, Kaune Marine operates from modern 3,000 m² production facilities equipped with advanced machinery, allowing precise and efficient work with glass and aluminium.
With a long history of experience and constant improvement, Kaune Marine is a trusted and reliable supplier of modern and high-quality products for the marine industry around the world.

Our firewalls and other fire protective glass products are compliant with the shipbuilding industry’s fire rating classifications (B15, A30 and A60).
C glass products offer a wide range of marine-certified glasses, including windows and doors with frameless solutions, available as automated or hinged. Kaune’s in-house production ensures fast and high-quality delivery.
